Modern architecture is undergoing a major shift. The demand for minimalist aesthetics, combined with energy efficiency, has made integrated linear LED lighting a primary design choice. Aluminum profile lights are no longer just housings; they are vital structural, electrical, and thermal components. By combining protective structural aluminum with high-performance light diffusion, these profiles protect modern LED arrays from heat buildup while creating a clean, modern aesthetic.
The lifespan of high-density LED strips is directly linked to their operating temperature. Uncontrolled thermal load can cause color shifting, reduced light output, and premature failure. Aluminum profiles serve as heavy-duty heat sinks. Using 6xxx series alloys, which have high thermal conductivity, allows the heat generated by high-lumen LEDs to move away from the PCB. This keeps junction temperatures low, ensuring the light system functions reliably for years.
Modern transit hubs, healthcare facilities, and offices use smart lighting systems that adapt to the environment. Our custom extrusions are designed to house not only LEDs but also integrated sensors, wireless controllers, and emergency backup wiring. This integration turns standard lighting profiles into active parts of a building's smart control system.
We have obtained the "Special Aluminium Materials for Aerospace" Certificate.
We provide and utilize high-quality Fenglu aluminum profiles. With extrusion lines ranging from 800T to 20,000T, we can produce alloys 1xxx, 2xxx, 3xxx, 5xxx, 6xxx, and 7xxx. We can manufacture fully shaped products with section dimensions up to 1.2 meters in width or 28 meters in length.
We have a team of technicians with 15 years of invaluable experience. Our deep understanding of customer requirements allows us to identify potential issues and offer practical insights, turning customer ideas into tangible products that meet specific needs.
Choosing the right aluminum alloy is critical to achieving the proper balance of mechanical strength, thermal conductivity, and corrosion resistance. While standard applications can use generic alloys, demanding architectural projects and industrial environments require high-grade raw materials.
The 6xxx series (primarily magnesium and silicon) is the industry standard for extrusion due to its excellent surface finish, ease of anodization, and good strength-to-weight ratio. Within this series, we utilize several distinct temper configurations:
Aluminum profiles require a tough surface treatment to protect against environmental degradation. Anodizing creates a controlled oxide layer on the metal's surface, improving its resistance to wear and weather. Our standard anodizing thickness ranges from 10 to 25 microns. This provides long-term protection against UV exposure, humidity, and abrasion, while preserving the clean look of the fixtures.
As a leading supplier, Lvxing provides specialized profiles for demanding projects worldwide. Our custom solutions are used in high-stress, high-traffic commercial and industrial environments globally.
Aviation and offshore structures require high-strength, certified materials. Our specialized helipad deck profiles and perimeter net structures are designed to withstand structural loads and harsh weather. They are engineered to incorporate integrated safety lighting tracks, providing pilots with visible guidelines without compromising the helideck's structural integrity.
Subway platforms experience constant operation and vibration. Our subway screen door frame extrusions and lighting channels are engineered for high cyclic load limits. These structures are built to withstand constant pressure changes from passing trains while housing essential indicator lighting networks.
Pharmaceutical laboratories and microelectronics cleanrooms require dust-free environments. Our surface-mounted profiles feature flush-mounted lenses and smooth, non-porous finishes. This prevents dust accumulation and simplifies regular decontamination procedures.
We are constantly evolving our product lines to keep pace with changing standards in construction and lighting. Our long-term technical goals focus on structural integration, manufacturing sustainability, and precision engineering:
We are expanding our use of recycled post-consumer aluminum billets, reducing the carbon footprint of our profiles without compromising mechanical properties.
Modern architecture demands near-invisible lighting fixtures. We are developing ultra-thin profiles that install flush with plaster surfaces while providing optimal heat dissipation.
We are researching new alloy combinations to improve thermal transfer rates. This will allow for higher-output light sources within smaller profile designs.
International infrastructure projects require strict adherence to regional safety and quality regulations. Every product manufactured in our facility undergoes strict quality control checks before shipment. Our CE certification and ISO9001:2015 manufacturing workflows ensure compliance with international construction guidelines. For large-scale projects, we provide complete material traceability reports, metallurgical certifications, and structural finite element analysis (FEA) testing data.
This technical FAQ provides detailed information on mechanical engineering, material selection, and custom profile design for structural applications.
For standard architectural linear profiles where surface finish is the priority, we recommend 6063-T5. It provides excellent surface quality, crisp extrusion lines, and responds well to anodizing. For heavy-duty industrial designs, structural frames, subway doors, or helipad light channels, we recommend 6061-T6 or 6082-T6. These tempers offer much higher tensile and yield strength, allowing them to withstand significant physical loads and vibration.
The extrusion press tonnage determines the maximum cross-sectional area and the complexity of the profiles we can manufacture. Smaller presses (800T - 1500T) are well-suited for light, intricate profiles, such as slim LED recessed channels. Our large-scale presses, including our 20,000T system, allow us to manufacture heavy-duty profiles up to 1.2 meters wide. This capability is ideal for large structural frames, heavy-duty aviation panels, and large-format architectural profiles.
Our 6063-series aluminum profiles have a thermal conductivity of approximately 200-209 W/m·K. This high rate of thermal transfer quickly draws heat away from the LED diode junction and dissipates it into the surrounding environment. This helps keep the LED junction temperature below recommended limits (typically < 85°C), preventing lumen degradation and color shifting over the lifetime of the fixture.
